The Phenomenal Handclap Band

Another cool aggregation of musicians! And this one is dancefloor-oriented and orchestral with tidbits of disco-electro! More electro in the world, you say? Yeah, stop complaining and dance!
At the center of it is Daniel Collás, the Witch Doctor, and Sean Marquand, the Medicine Man; then we have Patrick Wood, Nicholas Movshon, Luke O’Malley, Laura Marin, Quinn Luke, and Joan Tick, enhanced by the remarkable talents of Aurelio Valle, Carol C, Jaleel Bunton, Bart Davenport, Jon Spencer, and Lady Tigra, among carefully chosen others.

Junções de artistas são sempre interessantes e temos aqui uma dançante-orquestrada com pitacos de disco-electro! E essa também pode entrar na categoria ‘Banda com nome engraçadote’.

Zombie Disco Squad

“Zombie Disco Squad are two young Djs from London, well known for their infamous GET RUDE parties and versatile dj-sets.

Já que esse blog parece morto-mas-nem-tanto, tenho aqui na manga uma banda legal. E com um nome meio pertinente à vida do 2MW.

Não consegui infos concretas sobre eles somente que Zombie Disco Squad é um duo de DJ’s ingleses que está fazendo várias festenhas interessantes na Europa e que acabaram de lançar um EP. Descolei, com muito esforço, 2 mp3 pra gente. Minha favorita até agora é Vie! (que tá no EP), que é um house modernete misturado com funk-favela-rio-mc. É sério, já tou vendo a pista lotada:

[new video] Modest Mouse – King Rat

The video was fully conceived by Heath Ledger but left unfinished when he passed away in January of 2008. The Masses completed the video in his honor with the support and advocacy of Isaac Brock (Modest Mouse front man).
All the downloads from iTunes store in the first month of release will go toward Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, watch the video and understand why.

Totalmente concebido do início ao fim, em todos os detalhes, por Heath Ledger, o clipe ficou inacabado quando ele faleceu em janeiro de 2008.  The Masses completou o vídeo em sua honra, com a ajuda e apoio de Isaac Brock (líder do Modest Mouse).

P.S. Band is a new band from Sao Paulo, formed in 1999 by Paulo “Polo” Gallian (vocals, guitar), Andre “Saka” Sakajiri (vocals, guitar) and later joined by Andrea “Deia” Tachibana on the drums. They released their first album – Before This Moment- in 2005 and a new EP this year. They will feature in SP Music Festival 2009 on July 4!

P.S.Band é uma banda paulistana formada em 1999 por Paulo “Pôlo” Gallian (vocais, guitarra), André “Saka” Sakajiri (vocais guitarra) e mais tarde integrada pela baterista Andrea “Déia” Tachibana. Lançaram seu primeiro CD “Before This Moment”, em 2005 e um novo EP agora esse ano. Fazem parte do circuito de bandas novas de São Paulo e irão participar no próximo dia 4 de julho do SP Music Festival 2009!
