Casiotone for the Painfully Alone

CFTPA is a solo project of Owen Ashworth. Apparently famous in the indie scene, he came across to me in some tag cloud around the web few months ago. Of course, I’ve played it because of the name of the band (it’s something like buying a book because of its cover but that’s my stuff).

Anyway, he uses a Casio. And lots of more stuff, but the Casio is the main instrument. It’s a little hard to believe that I have one of these at home and I couldn’t EVER make any music. Only the dumb ones. And the lyrics are amazingly frank and clever. All enough to become one of my fave bands!

El Perro del Mar is the solo project of Swedish girl Sarah Assbring. Not only she’s pretty, her voice is wonderful!

Now she is releasing a new single called Glory to the World – in the video below – but we are offering here for download. Glory is part of her 2nd full-length album ‘From the Valley to the Stars’, available in Scandinavia, UK, US, Australia and New Zealand so far. But you can listen @ MySpace.
