Grizzly Bear + leaks + tweeter

Eu sigo o Ed Droste {Grizzly Bear} no twitter e acabei de ver que o álbum novo – Veckatimest - vazou EM BAIXA QUALIDADE. Tudo o que um músico não quer pra sua banda. Sendo que o disco mesmo só sai em 26 de maio (tá longe), será que ele está finalizado? Será que vale a pena baixar JÁ? Aconteceu com o penúltimo disco do Radiohead (Hail to the Thief) e a diferença entre o vazado e o final é gritante. E Grizzly Bear é muito foda pra ouvir “de qualquer jeito”.

(e a própria banda está OK quanto ao ‘vazamento’ do álbum, tá?)

I’m following Ed Droste {Grizzly Bear} on twitter and he seems extremely disappointed about the leaking of their new upcoming album – Veckatimest. Not because it leaked. Because it’s too early. The official release date is May 26! And because IT’S IN LOW QUALITY. Like Radiohead’s Hail to the Thief.

Fazer lista de melhores do ano é um tanto estranho, porque nunca o que é bom pros meus ouvidos é bom pro ouvido do tal “crítico”. Mas é um bom medidor de tendências, vamos confessar, como as listas do Pitchfork.

Agora, quando numa lista de melhores aparece Oasis, o que você faz? Pequenas variações de opiniões a gente encara, mas colocar como Melhor Banda Britânica uma banda que mal apareceu por aí, é algo muito delicado. Ou será que eu não quis ouvir falar deles? Ah, é uma lista pop!! Tá explicado.
